GOGGLES AND FRAMES
It is used on eyeglasses examination. It includes spherical, cylindrical, prismatic glasses and glasses frame. The patient's vision level and spectacle glass values are measured by attaching the appropriate glasses to the patient's test glasses frame.
90 'LENS
It have used for retinal examination. The lens used to assess to optic nerve without touching the patient's eye for retina, vascular structures.
THREE MIRROR LENS
It is used for areas that can not be seen with a 90-degree lens. There are three mirrors that can show certain areas of the retina. The patient's eye becomes numb with anesthetic drops. The lens contacts the patient's eye, but the patient does not feel pain. It is not used for routine examination.
PRISMS USED FOR STRABISMUS EXAMINATION
They used to calculate the degree of slippage in strabismus in terms of the Prizm Diopter (PD) unit. The amount of post-operative shear and intervention to be performed on the muscles that move the eye during surgery are assessed with these instruments and the differences in the patient's glasses and glasses-free shear ratings.
ISHIHARA (COLOR BOOK) TEST
This test composed of coloured dots with numbers on every page. In a well-lit place, patients asked to read the number on the test. If there will be a lack of reading in any colour will be asked to do more detailed test.
